Laconia State School for the Feeble Minded: Laconia’s Chance to take a Stand for Sustainability
How do we approach the preservation of places that are associated with aspects of our past that we may rather forget? This study presented an analysis of possible futures for the Laconia State School property within the context of its past, what has been done across the country with similar campuses, and the needs of the local community in an effort to look at the options for the future of the abandoned campus. How can this campus, and the energy its land and building embody, best be utilized going forward?
